NEW TRENDS IN KINETIC FRAGMENTATION THEORY

Abstract
Recent theoretical developments in the kinetic fragmentation theory are presented with a particular emphasis on the newly proposed Fragmentation-Inactivation Binary (FIB) cascading model. We also discuss the origin of scale-invariant, intermittent fluctuations in the cluster fragmentation models such as the percolation model and the binary cascading models.
