Restoration and Conservation of Archeological Artifacts by Means of a New Plasma‐Chemical Method

Abstract
A new method for restoration and conservation of archeological artifacts made of metals has been developed. It allows one to uncover tiny details of the original surface of the object and results in costs and labor saving which have not been possible so far. The progress achieved is summarized and the results are illustrated by selected examples. Some open problems are identified and their possible solutions are discussed.
