Theory of Self-Trapped Filaments of Light

Abstract
We present a calculation modeled after the theory of phase transitions to explain the observations on self-trapped filaments of laser light in liquids. The resulting state is shown to be similar to the Abrikosov vortex state in superconductors.Keywords
