Abstract
Small-scale field tests of a number of insecticides for control of the Douglas-fir cone midge (Contarinia oregonensis) are reported. Of these, Guthion (O, O-dimethyl S-(4 oxo-1,2,3-benzotriazin-3-(4H)-ylmethyl) phosphorodithioate), Sevin (1-naphthyl N-methylcarbamate), endosulfan, dimethoate, Bayer 29493 (O, O-dimethyl O-[4-(methylthio)-m-tolyl] phosphorothioate), and phorate were listed as most promising. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
