Abstract
Isopenicillin N and penicillin N were separated effectively by reversed phase HPLC [high performance liquid chromatography] as derivatives of chiral 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-.beta.-D-glucopyranosyl isothiocyanate. This permitted identification of isopenicillin N isolated by HPLC during a biosynthetic cell-free experiment using .alpha.-L-aminoadipyl-L-cysteinyl-D-valine as precursor. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
