Abstract
Serum albumin was recrystallized 4 times without change in the molecular weight as determined by the osmotic pressures. The molecular weight of horse-serum albumin was 72,000 [plus or minus] 3000; of unfractionated horse-globulin, about 175,000. Methods are described for estimating Pi (the ion pressure difference) in non-ideal solutions. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
