Eu149Decay

The electron capture decay of ${\mathrm{Eu}}^{149}$ to ${\mathrm{Sm}}^{149}$ has been studied using scintillation and proportional counters. A decay scheme is given which is consistent with the measured coincidence data. The half-life of the ${\mathrm{Eu}}^{149}$ decay was measured to be 106±2 days.
