Rapid detection of streptomycin and Dihydrostreptomycin in milk by enzyme‐linked immunofiltration assay

Abstract
Using a membrane‐based immunochemical technique, a simple and rapid method for the detection of streptomycin and dihydrostreptomycin in milk has been developed. This enzyme‐linked immunofiltration assay has a detection limit in milk of 2 ng ml‐1 for dihydrostreptomycin and 5 ng ml‐1 for streptomycin. No sample preparation was needed, and the total assay procedure was completed within 10 min.
