Die Heparinbehandlung bei erworbener hämolytischer Anämie

Abstract
Heparin therapy of hemolytic anemia due to antibodies is reported. This treatment is indicated when a rapid effect is essential, and when corticotherapy and splenectomy were of no avail. The different modes of treatment for the 2 indications, as brief and prolonged heparin therapy respectively, are described on the basis of two typical cases. The mechanism of action and the dangers of long-term treatment are briefly discussed.
