(He3,α) Pickup Reaction inS32

The (${\mathrm{He}}^3$,$\alpha$) pickup reaction was studied in $S^{32}$ with a 15-MeV ${\mathrm{He}}^3$ beam from the University of Pennsylvania tandem accelerator. Angular distributions of the strongly excited low-lying states in ${\mathrm{S}}^{31}$ were measured. Distorted-wave Born approximation analysis was performed to give $l$-value assignments and to extract spectroscopic factors. $J$ dependence of the $l=2\mathrm{}$ angular distributions was observed.
