Learning Objectives: After completing this course, the reader will be able to: Discuss adjuvant chemotherapy as a standard of care for resected stage II–IIIA non-small cell lung cancer.Interpret the controversy in treating stage IB non-small cell lung cancer patients with adjuvant chemotherapy.Define the future directions of adjuvant therapy for non-small cell lung cancer including new drugs under investigation and better “tailoring” of therapy.
