Three-dimensional optical interconnects by stacked ARROW waveguides

Abstract

To establish three-dimensional dense interconnects in integrated photonic circuits, a new stacked configuration of ARROW waveguides is developed. The crosstalk-free propagation and power exchange in the stacked ARROW-B wave-guides are experimentally demonstrated.
