Abstract
The results of CPK isoenzyme studies in a patient with ALS are reported. Generally, normal or mildly elevated total CPK levels with MB and BB isomers were observed. Since the routine causes of MB and BB isomers were excluded, it is thought that the presence of the isomers is due to the patient's primary neurologic disease with accompanying skeletal muscle changes. Keywords
