Abstract
We report the first detailed x‐ray spectroscopic data from a fast (1.1 μsec) high‐energy (400 kJ) implosion of an aluminized formvar liner. The high‐energy (≳1 keV) x‐ray data indicate a 400‐eV electron temperature and a 3×1020 cm−3 electron density. These parameters pertain to the highest‐energy component of the radiation spectrum. Keywords
