Abstract
Unmethylated or methylated 12 to 18S mRNA's synthesized in vitro by the virion-associated RNA polymerase of vesicular stomatitis virus contain the 5'-terminal hexanucleotide sequence G(5')ppp(5')ApApCpApGp...or m 7G(5')-ppp(5')ApmApCpApGp..., respectively. The implication of these results in relation to the regulation of transcription in vesicular stomatitis virus is discussed. This publication has 18 references indexed in Scilit:
