Abstract
An abnormally high incidence of honey bee visitation to Chinese gooseberry flowers was obtained by enclosing vines and hives of bees in cages during the blossom period. Weight of fruit formed in the cages was not significantly different from that in the surrounding crop, but caged fruit had significantly fewer seeds. Keywords
