Abstract
HOSPITALS, health care delivery systems, and health care providers all aim to provide the safest care possible. However, many injuries occur during hospitalization. Estimates have suggested that 1.3 million injuries may occur in the United States annually.1 Although many hospital injuries are unpredictable and unavoidable, 20% to 70% may be preventable.2-4Keywords
