Abstract
Nucleon-nucleon scattering is studied in a spontaneously broken gauge field theory with the gauge boson describing the meson. Gauge invariance is demonstrated explicitly. An inversion of the phase shift (but no zero) is obtained in a [] scalar Padé approximation.
