Abstract
Observations at periodic intervals on marked plants in strawberry plantations in south Devon showed that the maximum appearance of crinkle symptoms occurs in June and July, in which months rogumg and inspections should be completed. The data suggest that infection in summer by apterous aphides passing on to neighbouring plants is probably the principal cause of spread. Keywords
