Abstract
Three cynamolgus monkeys were given 100 tactual and 100 visual object-discrimination problems. Trials were presented on each problem until a criterion was met. The Ss showed progressive improvement in solving tactual as well as visual problems. Posterior parietal lesions affected tactual learning sets but not visual; there was subsequent improvement in ability to solve tactual problems with additional training. Keywords
