A case of drowning

Abstract
A case of near drowning is described. Despite full consciousness on early admission, and apparently good immediate recovery following intensive therapy for delayed pulmonary effects, the patient died of overwhelming necrotising pneumonia on the tenth day after the accident.Keywords
