Spontaneous Remission in a Case of Cushing's Syndrome Presumably Due to Adrenal Tumor

Abstract
This report concerns a 38-yr-old woman in whom a calcified, apparently nonfunctioning tumor at the site of the right adrenal gland was accidentally demonstrated. The patient had been admitted to the Pediatric Department at the age of 6 yr because of obesity. Review of the case record showed that she then had severe Cushing''s syndrome; a spontaneous remission apparently occurred toward puberty without specific treatment. Such an experiment of nature does not seem to have been reported previously.
