Procedure for Fluorescent-Antibody Staining of Virus-Infected Cell Cultures in Plastic Plates

Abstract
Acetone fixation and fluorescent-antibody staining of virus-infected cell cultures [for identification and testing of viral isolates] were performed in plastic plates. Proper addition of acetone as a fixative did not alter the plastic. [Bovine, porcine and African green monkey kidney, and infectious bovine rhinotracheitis, parainfluenza A and pseudorabies viruses were used.].
