Preparation of superconductive ceramics of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system and its superconductivity.

Abstract
High Tc phase with c=3.7 nm of Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O system was synthesized from a starting composition 2234 by repeating powdering and sintering alternately. When the powdering-sintering cycles were repeated four times with total sintering time of 350 h, the amount of the high Tc phase in the specimen was larger than 95 % from XRD measurement. Tcoffset of the specimen was 95 K. The high Tc phase formed at a temperature higher than the melt appearing temperature of the starting powder.
