Abstract
The pattern of transformation of radioactive estradiol was studied in 5 healthy post menopausal women and in 11 post menopausal women with breast cancer. Within the limit of expected biological variation there was no difference between the 2 groups of subjects. The results were compared with those obtained in an earlier study (J Clin Endocr26: 960, 1966) and found to be very similar to those of healthy men and men with miscellaneous illnesses but sharply different from those of men with breast cancer. Keywords
