Abstract
Numerical calculations based on the Ziman nearly free electron theory of the resistivity and thermopower of the noble metals are presented. The phase shifts of muffin-tin potentials are used to construct the t-matrix of a single scattering centre. Good agreement with experiment is achieved. Keywords
