Abstract
Snake erythrocyte nuclei were obtained from 6 spp. of snakes by hemolyzing the cells with .5 mg. tyrothrycin/ ml. of suspension. This method proved superior to the older saponin method. The nuclei contained about 45% more de-soxyribonucleic acid than the nuclei of chicken erythrocytes or rat liver. Keywords
