Power spectra analysis and the nomenclature of periods in the Lorenz model

Abstract
We have determined the drift of the fundamental frequency in the Lorenz model from a large amount of power spectra. This opens the possibility to devise an "absolute" nomenclature for various periods seen in the bifurcation diagram.Keywords
