Successful Treatment of Eyelid Hemangioma With Prednisone

Abstract

An infant with extensive hemangioma of the eyelid and orbit was unsuccessfully treated with irradiation and injection of sclerosing substance. Subsequent treatment with systemically administered corticosteroid produced dramatic regression of the hemangioma.
