Abstract
A simple technique for observing picosecond light pulses is demonstrated. The overlap between two light beams is measured by two‐photon excitation of a photographic film which is below threshold for one‐photon excitation. The resolution of the method is variable and limited only by the bandwidth of the photographic film. Keywords
