Abstract
RESUME: An analysis of 599 cases of retinal detachment of which 537 were submitted to surgical treatment is presented.Based on a clinical classification the cases are divided into ten different types and a study of each type is recorded. The over all rate of cure is 65%. The healing rate in each of the different groups is discussed and the results are related to the surgical procedure. Finally the functional result of the two largest groups is discussed. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
