Abstract
The structures of liquid Ce-Ni alloys with 25 and 75 at.% Ni have been investigated by X-ray diffraction. The results suggest that the charge transfer effect makes a major contribution to the effective hard core diameter of Ce-Ce pairs in these alloys. Keywords
