Abstract
An exact graphical procedure is presented for testing goodness-of-fit to ratios with 3 classes where the theoretical distribution is given on a priori grounds. Graph construction for the 12:1 ratio is illustrated in detail. The method, however, is completely arbitrary for any 3-part ratio; intermediate calculations for the more common 3-part ratios arising in genetics are given.
