Abstract
Concentrations of 10 mg/1 benzyl adenine (BA), 0.1 mg/1 naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) and 500 mg/1 malt extract, caused maximum initiation of buds from citrus stem explants grown in vitro. Minimum bud initiation occurred in explants grown on basal medium supplemented with 0.1 mg/1 BA, 0.1 mg/1 NAA and 500 mg/1 malt extract (ME). Roots were initiated in explants grown on basal medium supplemented with 0.1 mg/1 NAA and 500 mg/1 ME, and in medium lacking growth regulators. Plants were produced from these seedling stem explants.
