Abstract
Description of the cooperative research project of a local school, county voluntary agency, and a State Department of Health in determining possible influences in teenage smoking habits and attitudes. The project provided high school students with a meaningful learning experience in research, utilized skills of professional consultants in selected technical and behavioral sciences, and provided development of health education techniques applicable to other subject areas and locales. Project methodology, technique and evaluation are outlined. Data relating to possible influences in teenage smoking habits and attitudes are summarized.
