Abstract
Marine nemas from the Alabama coast of the Gulf of Mexico are recorded. Metachromadora (Neonyx) obesa Chitwood, 1936 is redeseribed. Hypodontolaimus pandispiculatus, Rhynchonema hirsuta, and Theristus (Theristus) rhynchonemoides are described as new. Rhynchonema cinctum of Wieser, 1956, nec Cobb, 1920, is renamed R. wieseri n. nom. Rhynchonema cinctum of Gerlach, 1955 and Wieser, 1959, nec Cobb, 1920, are considered synonyms of R. hirsuta n. sp. A key to the species of the genus Rhynchonema is provided. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
