Abstract
A simple procedure was developed for the rapid separation and determination of the polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons in urban air. By using sensitive detection and high-resolution glass capillary columns, profiles of polynuclears which are unique to the area of sampling were obtained. The potential of this method for effective screening of possible sources of atmospheric pollution is discussed. Keywords
