Abstract
The activity of the factor promoting chick myoblast multiplication in serum is higher than that in the spinal cord or muscle, indicating that the factor is not identical with the supposed neurotrophic substance. The activity of serum is highest around the time of hatching; it is higher in adult male chick than in female. Keywords
