Abstract
The two experiments described were concerned with defining the optimal parameter values for an electropulse stimulus and the extent of S differences. In Exp. I, touch and pain threshold variations were established on 12 Ss as a function of pulse number (1, 4, 8) and pulse duration (0.5, 1.0 msec). Significant support was obtained for use of a single pulse of 0.5-msec. duration. In Exp. II, touch and pain thresholds were obtained on 20 Ss coincident with body region and session variation. The abdomen and chest appear to be ideal electrode sites. S differences over time were discussed. Keywords
