Abstract
A chromosome analysis of a translocation in the domestic chicken (Gallus domesticus) revealed that it was a cyclical translocation involving chromosomes 1, 5, and 8. Meiotic preparations showed a ring-of-six, and G-banding verified that a portion of 1p was translocated to 8q, a portion of 8q was translocated to 5q, and a portion of 5q was translocated to 1p.Keywords
