Abstract
Plasma free corticosteroids were determined in rats at progressively later intervals following the onset of a faradic stimulus of 50 v, 0.2 msec, duration and 10/sec./frequency. Corticosteroids were detectably higher within 2.5 min. of the onset of stimulation, rose to a peak of 330% of the control baseline within 10 min., and subsequently returned to the pre-stimulus values after 1 hr.Keywords
