Abstract
An express method to approximate trajectories of space-independent kinetic equations is developed. It involves a two-step treatment of relaxation through a quasi-equilibria located on a line emerging from the initial state in the direction prescribed by the kinetic equation. A test for the Boltzmann equation shows the validity of the method.Keywords
