Abstract
The method of screening for glaucomatous visual field defects proposed by Armaly was evaluated in 106 normal people and 49 people with glaucomatous defects. The method was found to have a high sensitivity and also a high specificity and with the modifications to be described, lends itself to clinical and survey screening. The method's strength and weaknesses are outlined in detail in the paper. Keywords
