Abstract
Low-vision patients (100) who complained of sensitivity to light were permitted to select any 1 of 5 filters (Recreational Innovations Company). Apparently, patients with certain types of pathology prefer to use specific filters to control the light reaching their eyes. Patients with albinism chose amber filters. Patients with glaucoma or diabetes both selected the same filter. Most patients with retinitis pigmentosa found most help from a filter which allowed 2% light transmission. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
