Abstract
Spienectomy, performed 1 day after an intraperitoneal injection of a large dose of sheep erythrocytes, reduced the initial part of the hemolysin response, but did not significantly affect a later part. The antibody-reducing effect of cortisone was significantly greater in splenectomized than in sham operated rats. Keywords
