Abstract
The results of this experiment show that growth rate in mice is so sensitive to environmental factors that any change in the environment such as handling or diet could cause short-term changes in the rate of growth. It is also shown that if there is a period of restricted growth due to an environmental factor such as either handling or diet, this may be followed by a period of compensating rapid growth. Keywords
