Abstract
Different methods of nasal repair with flaps from the lower part of the cheeks are reviewed. Good results in partial rhinoplasty are seen with methods providing adequate internal lining as well as a covering skin of good quality, especially when skin flaps are folfed to imitate the alar rim. Meeting these demands a new way of transferring cheek flaps to defects in the lateral wall of the nose is described. Examples are given on the results obtained and the safety and applicability of the method are discussed.
