Abstract
A convenient method for the preparation of primary amines by the use of bisarylsulfenimide has been established. Primary amines were obtained in good yields under mild reaction conditions by treating N-substituted bisarylsulfenimides with hydrochloric acid or mercaptan. The N-substituted bisarylsulfenimides were prepared in good yields by the reactions of lithium bisarylsulfenimide with alkyl halides or alkyl p-toluenesulfonates or by the addition reactions of bisarylsulfenimide to olefinic compounds. Keywords
