Abstract
"Mice of the C57BL/Crgl and A/Crgl inbred strains, and of the F-sub(1), F-sub(2), and backcross generations derived from these strains were tested for locomotor activity. A clear relationship is shown between activity and the percentage of C57BL genes present. Estimates are made of the degree of genetic determination of the F-sub(2) variance, and dominance, preponderantly in the direction of higher activity, is shown."
