Abstract

Cockroaches are reared in various ways for use in insect physiology and toxicology. Piquett & Fales (1952) have summarized the literature pertinent to and described their methods for rearing several species of cockroaches, including the American and German cockroaches (Periplaneta americana (L.) and Blattella germanica (L.)).
